It’s getting to the point where it’s becoming hard to call Athletic Brewing just a near beer company.
With all of the amazing beers they’ve been turning out of late, they’re a full fledged brewery in my eyes.
Yes, their focus is on non-alcoholic brews, and now seltzers.
But you’ll be hard pressed to find a bad beer in their store. And if they do create a batch that’s not up to their standards, they’ll own it, and pull it from the store (which a lot of breweries would never do).
In fact, you’ll be hard pressed to find much in their frequently visited store at all. Athletic has grown so rapidly their pilot beers usually sell out the day they are launched, and a lot of their mainstays are going fast too these days. As of this posting, their Variety Case, All Out Stout, Run Wild IPA and Free Wave IPA are all sold out because of extraordinary demand. They’ll be back, but it just shows the demand for their near beers off the charts.
Currently, their popular Upside Dawn Golden Ale is available, so appreciate what you have and get a few sixers for your next outdoor adventure. They also offer free shipping on 2 sixers and Amazon pay to make online ordering painless.
Back to Upside Dawn: This classic golden ale pours a golden with a light head, is light bodied with a subtle floral nose and earthy taste. It’s brewed with premium organic malts from the U.S. and Germany, giving it a quality homebrew type taste, and is hopped with English and traditional American hops.
It’s an awesome go-to ale when you’re not sure what type of brew you’re looking for, and want something that won’t slow you down when you’re adventuring. I’d recommend this beer to anyone who’s recently quit drinking and is looking for a solid go-to craft non-alcoholic ale.
(Also worth noting, Athletic just launched its Irish Red Ale as a Pilot for St. Patrick’s Day, so get yours while it’s available today!)
Here’s to the Golden age of NA brewing!
Cheers! 🍻
